Only 5 nights into the restaurant gala and wow what food and deals, plus onwners and managers to talk with. Places more crowded than last May so need reservations. Ends 5/31. I am doing a ton of walking to get exercise! Anyone else here???

It has been a very delightful sojourn here. I met many folks from my various Internet Yahoo and MSN groups. I ate out all 17 nights of the festival and in a few days will be editing my restaurant guide and upload to cafepress. I gained about 5 pounds so have skimping ahead! My condo is shaping up fine with a rental possible in July, unsure, but one week in Sept., before I return for my October stay. I will appear for a short 12 days in August, mainly to chat with amigos and see how my sales are going in town. Hope you visit soon and we all get together for a cool one, a lunch, snack, or dinner!!!

Glad for you that you are back in PV -- but I am not, unfortunately. A bit hot, isn't it!? I am home in Seattle area where it's been raining & is forecast to continue. Oh well, the birds like it! Expect to spend half of Dec & half of Jan there --the long, dark winter gets me down. In 2 yrs I expect to be able to spend 4-6 mos there, which will be heavenly!
Won't be able to afford "restaurant week" at that time tho -- as my husb will be retired & we'll be on a tight budget. Pls share your new favorite spots, ok?? Thanx, Adrienne
